Philanthropy

I’ve been actively involved in organizing and supporting a variety of charity initiatives, with a strong focus on community engagement and creative fundraising. One of the key projects I contributed to was Tech in Pink, an internal campaign dedicated to raising money for breast cancer research during Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October. As part of this initiative, I organized multiple events  year—including sponsored cycling and sports challenges, karaoke fundraisers, apparel sales, cooking shows, and even the creation of cookbooks—typically coordinating five to six activities across the 2 week-long campaign.

I have supported several impactful organizations, including Plastic Whale, an Amsterdam-based charity focused on cleaning plastic waste from the city’s canals and turning it into sustainable design products, raising both awareness and action around marine pollution. I’ve also participated in NLdoet, the Netherlands’ national volunteer day; Operation Christmas Child, which delivers holiday gift boxes to children in need; and Edukans, a foundation focused on improving education opportunities in developing countries.
